TOLEDO, Ohio, November 19, 2009 – The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority welcomes the second season of twice-weekly Direct Air flights to Punta Gorda, Florida - situated between Sarasota and Ft. Myers, Florida – on Friday, November 20, 2009.

If media crews arrive after 9:40 a.m., entrance to the terminal may be delayed.

10 A.M. - FLIGHT ARRIVES – ON-THE-SPOT INTERVIEWS

10:45 A.M. - PLANE DEPARTS FOR PUNTA GORDA/FT. MYERS, FLORIDA

Direct Air’s nonstop service to Punta Gorda is available on Monday’s and Friday’s from Toledo Express via 737-400 Aircraft operated by XTRA Airways. This aircraft features 150 coach seats.

Fares traditionally start at $99 each way, but for a limited time, Direct Air is offering one-way fares starting at $69 if booked through the website at www.visitdirectair.com.
