Seaport Director
Warren D. McCrimmon is the Seaport Director for the Toledo-Lucas
County Port Authority. As the Seaport Director, Mr. McCrimmon is
responsible for planning and implementing the Seaport Division’s
programs for the Port of Toledo. This includes improvement to port
facilities, marketing, lease management, tenant relations,
governmental affairs, and the coordination of the multi-modal
transportation facilities surrounding the port.
Mr. McCrimmon joined the Port Authority in June 2002 as Seaport
Director. Prior to that, he served as Director of Legal Services and
Corportate Secretary for the Vancouver Port Authority. In that
position, he provided leadership, direction, and management of all
aspects of the legal department. Previously, Mr. McCrimmon served as
Vice President of Property, Insurance, and Legal for the Canada Ports
Corporation.
Mr. McCrimmon graduated from the University of British Columbia
with a bachelor of arts degree. He also earned his law degree (LLB)
from the University of British Columbia. He is a member of the
Harbors, Navigation and Environment and Maritime Economic
Development Committees of the American Association of Port
Authorities. He is the secretary of the American Great Lakes Ports
and represents the Great Lakes Caucus at the AAPA. He is the Chair
of the U.S. delegation to the AAPA and Chairs the AAPA Legislative
Policy Committee.
